Ahhh, me and my equally unkewl punk-turned-suburban dad neighbor are off to see Marilyn Manson (with Twiggy) tonight. I'm sure we'll be looked at as the narcs in the audience...haven't seen Manson since he got big (is he still big, have no idea?) and saw him in a little 200+ seater bar in the early 90's. Thought it was the funniest damn thing ever so looking forward to seeing him in a little bigger setting. He's a great showman...but still no where near Tom

An AUSTRALIAN manufacturer has called for applications for what it claims could be the world's best job - condom tester.
Durex marketing manager Sam White said any Australian over the age of 18 could apply for one of 200 positions as a condom tester.
The position is not paid, but successful applicants will receive a free $60 selection of Durex products and will be required to provide the company with honest feedback about the products' performance.
One of the lucky 200 testers will win a $1000 bonus.

Went to go catch The Unsatisfied last night at a little whole in the wall called the Midnight Room in Tucker. Club was very odd (cleanest dive I've ever seen...but good lard a dive). No advertising, no one knew who was actually playing etc. Was told The Unsatisfied broke up the night before and the only band that showed up was "them guys over thar with the tattoos". Was a great accident that we stumbled upon The High Rollers (and when I say we...I mean me and the guy I went with to be the audience). An no time did the room have mor than 10 folks in it. High Rollers played some great original PsychoBilly stuff and covers of Ramones, Cramps...and yes, Iron Maiden. Picked up a couple of CD's from them and they'll be back in Atlanta next Monday on their way back to Arizona...deffinitly worth a listen.

Whew... 
A man who was arrested in a park wearing a woman's wig and a bikini accepted a plea deal Thursday that dropped a charge of public indecency.
Steven S. Cole, a former volunteer firefighter, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and disorderly conduct.

Went to see Jello Biafra the other night (and morning) in Spartanburg, SC at Club Zero. "Punk" club in the middle of SC that seats 1000+ (in a town with what I guess is 10 "punks"). Was a great show...cheap beer...long ride back to Atlanta. Jello came on about 8:30 and took a 15 minute break at 11:00...then back to speaking until 1:00am or so.

This is hilarious stuff!
So here's how it all went down...
I had a set at the comedy store Saturday night, and after I closed, I was bringing on the next comedian, a guy named Kirk Fox that works for Carlos Mencia.
I introduce him saying that he's a funny guy, and that he opens on the road for Carlos "Menstealia." That’s the name we call him at the comedy store, and of course Carlos doesn't like it one bit.
Carlos was apparently in the room when I said this, and the perfect combination of ego and timing made him decide that this was the night to put his foot down.
